Webinar 1

Expanding automation to ensure success with critical applications

Many organizations are facing some challenges with optimized operations that support business objectives. This includes hybrid cloud complexity and cost management, addressing resource constraints and skills gaps, delivering with speed and accuracy, ensuring resilience with less downtime, managing risk and more. Against this backdrop, IT leaders must also improve return on investment (ROI) and do more with the same or fewer resources.

Put simply, manual methods cannot withstand these simultaneous challenges. The time is now for automation, and it has become a critical approach to operations. Join this webinar session to hear about the practical advantages of enterprise automation.

In this webinar, we’ll cover:

  • How key customers have adopted enterprise automation to save large amounts of staff working hours.
  • The types of ROI our customers are seeing from automation.
  • How you can automate multidomain processes from the cloud to the enterprise to the network and edge—including with other Red Hat® products.
  • How new innovations in event-driven automation and generative artificial intelligence (AI) are paving the way for advanced automation.
  • Recommended best practices for starting small and thinking big, and operating from a single source of truth.

Live Event Date: Wednesday, February 21, 2024 | 11 AM ET

Speakers: Kaete Piccirilli and Hicham Mourad

Webinar 2

Ansible automation: The security-focused way to automate

Two key concerns for most IT leaders are security and risk management. When considering the best automation solution for your team, thinking through the most effective and efficient ways to ensure security is key to having a successful automation strategy. This is where Red Hat® Ansible® Certified Content Collections, available only with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, come in.

Join Ansible experts Emily Bock and Jamie Beck as they walk you through how Red Hat platforms are tested and hardened for security, along with the benefits of a Red Hat subscription.

In this webinar we’ll cover:

  • The differences between community-supported tools and a Red Hat subscription. While community-supported tools are great for experimentation and trying out new things, Ansible Automation Platform is ready for deployment in the enterprise.
  • The steps Red Hat takes to prioritize platform security. While all Red Hat solutions are driven by open source, Red Hat’s platforms, such as Ansible Automation Platform, go through a rigorous process to ensure product security.
  • An example of how Red Hat Ansible Certified Content Collections give you what you need to automate on Day 1. Many security vendors work with Red Hat vendors to develop and certify content to automate their products with Ansible Automation Platform. We’ll show you an example of a collection and its benefits.

Join this webinar to learn about how to use the integrated automation content development capabilities within Ansible to help you level-up your skills. We'll show you how features, such as Ansible Lightspeed, Ansible Content Collections, and automation development tools can help you create reliable, trusted code in less time while jump-starting your automation development productivity.

In this webinar we’ll cover:

  • How Ansible Lightspeed for IBM watsonx Code Assistant helps you create and maintain quality Ansible code.
  • Ways to start automating more efficiently while ensuring trust with Ansible Content Collections.
  • Enhanced and supported automation development tools (e.g., Molecule) to create, test, and deploy your automation code.
  • Ansible's emerging capabilities in both artificial intelligence (AI) and overall developer experience.

Webinar 5

The operational effect of observability and event-driven automation

IT automation strategies are the main topic of conversation because manual methods alone are no longer enough to manage complexity across hybrid environments, such as clouds, multiclouds, and on-premises technologies. Teams have to coordinate within and across domains and complicated technology, but without an automation strategy in place, delivering critical new capabilities will be slow. In addition, the operational infrastructure needs to be more consistent and change needs to be done efficiently and accurately.

Event-driven automation is a new technique that provides an automated response to changing IT conditions. It can help keep key applications running smoothly with fewer issues due to consistent and accurate actions. When an issue does occur, resolution can also be achieved in less time with automation instead of extensive coordination. While event-driven automation is not a new technique, what’s needed is a way to expand its use while shrinking the technical debt of custom development. Join us to learn more about how to take advantage of observability and automation to run your critical technology more smoothly.

In this webinar, you’ll discover:

  • How to create a strategy that uses the right event-driven automation technology to automate more of your Day 2 operational demands.
  • When to apply event-driven automation to ensure faster mean time to repair (MTTR) so critical applications remain up and running.
  • When to proactively respond with event-driven automation.
  • How to integrate automation into your hybrid and multivendor IT environment to go from insights to action (e.g., from observability tools, system logs, and multiple sources of events to automated actions).
